Suitable for higher net worth individuals and their families, Libro’s Regional Financial Planners provide a holistic financial planning experience, creating advanced strategies on tax, estate, and wealth protection. They are non-sales commission, so you can be confident our recommended solutions are in your best interest.
Julie McLinchey, CFP® Regional Financial Planner, Libro Credit Union Financial Planner, Aviso Wealth
Julie has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has worked at Libro Credit Union since 2002. She has held a number of roles, mostly within the investing area. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional. Julie was raised on a cash crop farm, and currently resides in a small rural town. Julie primarily serves the Huron Perth region.
Ryan Van De Laar, CFP® Regional Financial Planner, Libro Credit Union Financial Planner, Aviso Wealth
After fifteen years in financial services, Ryan joined Libro Credit Union in 2019. Ryan’s professional qualifications include multiple certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute, Canadian Institute of Financial Planners, and Advocis – The Financial Advisors Association of Canada. Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and member of Responsible Investment Association Canada, having obtained the Responsible Investment Specialist designation. He also holds the Registered Retirement Consultant designation and Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice. Ryan primarily serves the London, Elgin and Oxford areas.
Eric Taylor, CFP® Regional Financial Planner, Libro Credit Union Financial Planner, Aviso Wealth
Eric has been in the Financial Services industry since 2012, in progressively senior roles before joining Libro in 2023. Eric is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, and a graduate of both Wilfrid Laurier University, and the Graduate Certificate in Professional Financial Services at Fanshawe College. Eric was born and raised in Sarnia, and recently returned to the region with his family. Eric primarily serves the Lambton Kent Middlesex region.
Andrew Scott, CFP® Regional Financial Planner, Libro Credit Union Financial Planner, Aviso Wealth
Andrew has been in the financial services industry since 2016, in progressively senior roles. Andrew is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional, and a graduate of McMaster University. Andrew calls Wellesley home today with his wife and seven children. He enjoys golfing, reading, and quality family time. Andrew is looking forward to working with our local communities and meeting the team at Libro. Andrew primarily serves the Waterloo and Haldimand-Norfolk regions.
The primary responsibility of the Wealth Planner is to help you find the best solutions for your farm or business transition, succession, and estate planning needs. In partnership with the local Libro relationship manager, the Wealth Planner’s comprehensive financial planning process includes proposing advanced tax, estate, and wealth protection strategies to high net worth individuals, with a focus on agricultural and commercial business owners. The process may also include the establishment of corporations, holding companies and trusts in partnership with local accountants and lawyers. The Libro Wealth Planner is a non-licensed (sales or insurance) and non-sales commission role, so you can be confident our recommended solutions are in your best interest.
Phil Boglevsky, CFP®, CIWM, TEP, FCSI Wealth Planner, Libro Credit Union
After more than twenty years of experience in financial services, Phil joined Libro Credit Union in 2019. Phil’s academic and professional qualifications include an Economics Degree from the University of Western Ontario, and diplomas in Finance and Insurance from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Phil is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and member of STEP Canada, having obtained the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation. He also holds the Certified International Wealth Manager, Financial Management Advisor, Canadian Investment Manager, and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute designations.
Benjamin Alton Investment Representative
After graduating from Western University, Benjamin joined Libro Credit Union in 2020, bringing a fresh perspective to financial services. Benjamin is a licensed associate supporting all regions that Libro covers. He plays a key role in providing support to the Regional Financial Planners. Dedicated to ensuring seamless Owner service and efficient operations, Benjamin assists in Owner outreach and administrative tasks. Benjamin is committed to delivering exceptional support to help Owners achieve their financial goals.
