How to set up Biometric Sign-in (Face ID/ Touch ID) in Libro’s Mobile Banking App.

How do I set up Biometric Sign-In?
I Have Biometrics Set Up on My Device
You can enable this feature easily, in one of two ways:
1) At Sign In
- Simply check the ‘Set Up, Face ID or Touch ID’ checkbox that shows on the screen when you enter your password at sign in on Libro’s Mobile Banking App
- Follow along with the prompts, and ensure that you understand the terms connected to this feature.
2) In Your Security Settings in the App
- In the Mobile Banking app, navigate to your Settings (look for the gear icon)> Security (shield icon).
- Under this menu you will see either Biometrics, Face ID or Touch ID, depending on your device type.
- Beside this you’ll see a button to “Set Up” Select this.
- Turn the toggle on. Follow along with the prompts, and ensure that you understand the terms connected to this feature.
I Don’t Have Biometrics Set Up On My Device
- To start using facial or fingerprint recognition for your sign-in, you’ll need to add it first to your device.
For Apple Devices with Face ID see their instructions.
For Apple Devices with Touch ID see their instructions. On Android devices, you will need to set this up by navigating to your device’s Settings. Depending on your device type, you should see an option to set up facial or fingerprint recognition under Security & Privacy. - Once you have set up your face or fingerprints on your device you can enable this on the Libro app in one of two ways:

How do I turn off Biometric Sign-In?
Turn Off Biometric Sign-In for the Libro App
- In the Mobile Banking app, navigate to your Settings (look for the gear icon)> Security (shield icon).
Under this menu you will see either Biometrics, Face ID or Touch ID, depending on your device type.
Select this. - Turn the toggle off.
Turn off Biometrics on your device overall
- For Apple Devices with Face ID see their instructions.
- For Apple Devices with Touch ID see their instructions.
- On Android devices, you will need to turn this off by navigating to your device’s Settings. Depending on your device type, you should see an option to set up facial or fingerprint recognition under Security & Privacy.
- Then you’ll need to turn biometrics off in the app. Once logged in, navigate to your Settings (look for the gear icon)> Security (shield icon). Under this menu you will see either Biometrics, Face ID or Touch ID, depending on your device type. Select this.
- Turn the toggle off.
Does Libro Store My Identifying Data?
Libro does not store users’ biometric identifying data (faces, fingerprints), etc. Biometric data is used for sign in purposes with Apple and Android devices, with no sharing of this encrypted data to Libro, just whether the verification of a user’s identity with facial or fingerprint recognition was successful.
