SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO – Libro Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of the 2023 Annual granting program, which will see 21 projects across southwestern Ontario receive a total of $310,000.
The Libro Annual Grants Program invests in organizations whose work reflects our pillars – financial resilience, housing, employment and local food accessibility. We think differently about how we conduct business overall, making decisions that have a positive impact on our Owners, communities, and staff. Everything Libro does is aimed at making an impact, including our investments in the community.
“This is an opportunity for Libro to learn about impactful projects happening across our region and we’re excited to be part of them,” said Carolina Triana, Libro’s Purpose Integration Specialist. “Every year we are impressed by the innovative programs that these groups are delivering to improve the quality of life for so many.”
Libro’s granting process is unique and reflective of the priorities of our Owners and the needs of the communities they serve. Libro’s Owner Representatives participate in the grant evaluation process and have a voice in the award selection.
