SOUTHWESTERN, ON – Libro Credit Union is celebrating 34 strong local students with cash and kudos from across southwestern Ontario this month with a $2,000 Libro Student Award – that’s $68,000 supporting financial resilience for today’s youth.
Students receiving a scholarship award from Libro demonstrated outstanding leadership, commitment and service in their local communities through volunteering while balancing a high level of academic performance. Since 2012, Libro has awarded $900,000 to over 330 students between the ages of 17 and 25 through its Student Award Program.
